Natsuza Yuzuki has been a left-winger in rugby since he was a child. He immediately rises to prominence in the Kansai University League after enrolling at Doushisha University.

His dreams were shattered, however, when a bad motorcycle accident leaves him with a spinal hernia, rendering him unable to play rugby again. With no other options, he accepts his new position as manager and believes his team can win the league title.

Yuzuki’s squad includes his calm best friend and full-back Seiichirou Jingyouji; hot-headed first-year Yasunari Tsuru, who has a strong dislike for Natsuza and is filling his senior’s old position as left wing; and Yuu Mashiro, who is battling to retain his footing as a scrum half.
