1. Cooler Master MasterGel Pro v2
MasterGel Pro V2, an enhanced compound with strong CPU/GPU conductivity, provides improved heat dissipation and heat transfer from the chipset to the cooler base. Aside from the aesthetics, the thermal grease has been tweaked to meet your performance requirements.
To keep my 4 physical core(8 virtual core) Intel processors from overheating, I ran it at 30-40% load with the CPU clock set at 70 percent maximum frequency. Even running a computer at full load at 70% frequency would result in temperatures of 100C, and running a computer at 40% load at 100% clock frequency would result in the same high temperatures.
I was able to operate a 100% CPU with 100% clock frequency at 90C immediately after applying thermal grease. It’s not quite as amazing. However, temperatures do not exceed 75°C after one day of treatment. It appears that this grease takes about a day to fully activate after being applied. Because I run my computer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it’s possible that grease reached its full capacity early in my situation.
2. Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is a somewhat viscous thermal compound with excellent stability that is easy to work with and resists drips and runs. This paste is popular among system builders since it is simple to use and clean up.
The machine worked well right out of the box, but it had heating concerns. Temperatures were around 75-85 degrees Celsius with regular workloads, and 95-100 degrees Celsius when gaming. I tried undervolting and other solutions, but they didn’t work. After watching a lot of videos, I decided to give it an attempt. I expected the machine to run a little cooler, but to my surprise, usual temperatures are between 46 and 60 degrees Celsius, and it never exceeds 75 degrees Celsius while heavy gaming. Even after overclocking, there is no thermal throttling. For all gaming devices, this is a must-do.
3. Cooler Master MasterGel Maker
In terms of specifications, the MakerGen looks intriguing, as least as interesting as a tube of paste can be. The MasterGel Maker should have excellent conductivity thanks to its nano-diamond particles, but I think we’ll find out in our test.

Using throttle stop, I usually maintain my clock speed a little lower (Around 4.2Ghz for 2 cores and 3.8 for rest 4). Valhalla’s temperature is less than 75 degrees Celsius while using this option.

Following the application of Noctua to my Acer Nitro 5, (2019 model). The temperatures have clearly risen. Idle temperatures did not differ significantly from stock paste, however, maximum temperatures under intense gaming load performed admirably, though not to the standards set by previous reviewers.
I’m only posting the CPU temperatures because the GPU temps were virtually normal with the stock paste.
When the temperature is between 30 and 35 degrees Celsius, Acer stock paste is used. CPU temperatures: 55-60°C (idle) with auto fans; 95-100°C (gaming) with max fans.
Noctua CPU temperatures: 50-55°C (idle) with auto fans; 83-88°C (gaming) with no throttling at maximum fans.
8. CORSAIR XTM50
I’ve always admired and loved the way Corsair goods are built. Everything Corsair produces has a high-end feel to it, as though it were crafted with genuine passion. Having said that, their thermal pastes… not so much. Even when compared to Artic Silver, MX-4, and Grizzly, neither of their pastes are particularly competitive. Grizzly hits it out of the park with this one. This isn’t the worst paste; for only 16 dollars for this “ultra” XTM 50 thermal paste, I’d expected it to perform better than my MX-4. Also, if you have an AMD Ryzen processor or something larger, the applicator is too small to cover the entire surface of the CPU. Although I will mention that at 4.2 GHz, I get 30 C idle and 75 C load.
Although I will say, 30 C idle and 75 C load at 4.2 GHz on my Ryzen 2700x is not too bad, just not the best. but you can definitely consider it.
9. Antec Formula X Thermal Paste
So I tried this thermal paste, and to my amazement, the maximum temperature I got with it was 68 degrees, but the temperature I got with stock applied thermal paste was 73 degrees. Excellent thermal paste.
