As was known before, in VALORANT players pick heroes, and each of them will have a diverse set of abilities, but sharpshooting is to be the most crucial aspect. According to Twitter user Slasher, eight characters are initially supposed to be available: Sage, Cypher, Brimstone, Jett, Phoenix, Viper, Sova, and Omen.

However, it can be assumed that this group will grow over time.
VALORANT is also to offer a lot of different weapons, which seems to confirm the trailer published today, in which we can see the following buying menu.

Release date

No dates have been announced for the Valorant closed beta testing but we do have a rough release schedule for the full game.
Riot Games has announced Valorant will launch around the globe during Summer 2020.

Gameplay And Trailers

Valorant pits two teams of five players facing one another across matches which last 25 rounds. While this seems incredibly long at first glance, the pace is incredibly snappy which most rounds lasting a few minutes at most. An entire match normally tops out at 60 minutes or so, rivaling League of Legends in terms of length, although the first team to take 13 rounds is the automatic victor.

Your team’s goal is to plant or disarm a Spike (Valorant’s specification for a bomb) or simply kill the opposing team to take the round. Much like Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six Siege, there are no respawns to be found. Once you’re down, you’re out. This adds a lot of tactical accuracy to Valorant since players are unlikely to survive a single attack of gunfire.
