5 True Ways Fix Realtek Audio Manager Not Showing

Realtek Audio Manager is an audio manager on most PCs and laptops since Realtek produces the majority of integrated sound cards on Windows PCs, so it makes more sense to use the first-party utility for improved sound quality.

Having said that, there is one issue that many people, including myself, encounter: Realtek Audio Manager sometimes disappears after installing an audio driver.

Whenever I ran into this issue, I checked multiple forums and posts, and only a few of them worked in my experience. So, in this post, we’ll go through the top five ways to fix Realtek Audio Manager Not Appearing.

5 True Way Fix Realtek Audio Manager

1. Uninstall and Reinstall Realtek Audio Manager

This solution may not work for all but try to do this and if this not works then try another solution in this list.

  1. Right-click on the windows icon then click on device manager.
  2. Find the Realtek High definition audio device, then right-click it and select Uninstall.
  3. Follow through with any further prompts.
  4. As soon as you uninstall the driver, press Action at the top menu bar and select Scan for hardware changes or download Realtek audio driver from the Realtek website and then install.
  5. Then restart your system and confirm if the problem still exists.

2. Try Old Driver

Many times new drivers are often incompatible with many laptops and computers that means you can try old drivers.

  1. Download and install Old audio driver given the link below.
  2. And then Restart your computer and check if this problem still exists.

3. Use thrid party driver installer

Using a third-party driver installer is often a good idea for many scenarios and this is one of them.

4. Enable Realtek HD Audio Manager on the Startup tab

Again this solution may not work for everyone but you can try this and if this not works for you then the next one will work for you.

  1. Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
  2. Next, select the Startup tab.
  3. Then right-click Realtek HD Audio Manager and select Enable if it’s disabled.
  4. Close the Task Manager, and restart Windows.

5. Fix Realtek HD Audio Manager Icon in Windows 10 Control Panel

  1. Open Control Panel on your Windows 10.
  2. Change the View to Small/Large icons.
  3. Click to Realtek HD Audio Manager.
  4. Click the “i” (information symbol) above the OK button on the bottom right corner.
  5. Check the Display icon in the notification area option.
  6. Click the OK.
