Pokemon Masters adds a new way to fight: the sync pair. Trainer–Pokemon duos known as Sync Pairs assist you in battle. Building up your sync pairs is critical if you want to progress in Pokemon Masters.
However, before we get there, here’s a quick rundown: Pokémon Masters divides your sync pairings into four distinct roles: physical, special, tech, and support, each of which operates differently.
In this post, we have compiled a detailed Pokémon Masters Tier List to assist newcomers in obtaining the best possible Sync Pair.

Sync Pair | Position | Reason |
---|---|---|
Hilbert – Mightyena | Physical Strike | This pair is a fantastic option for doing damage. Mightyena continues to improve as the meta grows more focused on damage, putting it far ahead of other alternatives. |
Cynthia – Mega Garchomp | Physical Strike | This pair may wind up in the A-tier because it requires the Acerola – Palossand pair to reach its full potential. However, due of that potential, it is currently ranked in the S-tier. Earthquake’s damage might be more than doubled in sandy ground. When you mix in Garchomp’s amazing attack numbers, you have an AoE killing machine capable of dealing with several enemies at once. |
N – Zekrom | Physical Strike | Zekrom is similar to Garchomp in appearance, but specialises at increasing damage. Due to the meta complementing that type of playstyle, his single damage is what actually makes him relevant. Excellent when used with Electric Terrain types for increased damage output. |
Karen – Mega Houndoom | Special Attack Strike | This combination possesses one of the game’s highest damaging potentials. But that’s only one part of its greatness. High Critical Hit Rates and the ability to make adversaries flinch are incredibly useful qualities that help the duo become a formidable force. |
Acerola – Palossand | Tech | Palossand possesses amazing versatility for any squad, aside from being Garchomp’s best wingman. It can increase the squad’s attack and critical hit rate while also keeping the team alive via healing and weather effects. |
Steven – Mega Metagross | Physical Strike | Why not put the pair with the highest attack stat in the game first? If you want to do devastating harm to your opponents, this combination has you covered. Furthermore, it provides high healing and decent MP refresh, which are both nice advantages. |
May – Swampert | Tech | This combination has a high Water AoE output and can be lethal depending on the weather. Swampert takes advantage of May’s Sync Grid to get numerous advantages. They are tanky and can deal a lot of damage if used correctly. |
Bianca – Musharna | Tech | They have a fantastic sync grid that allows them to be highly adaptable. This combination is ideal for fortifying their defences and doing a lot of damage with Stored Power. |
Sygna Suit Leaf – Mega Venusaur | Tech | Because of their huge healing for a tank, this combination has incredible support potential. It has strong utility and debuffs that may easily sway any battle in your favour. This combination, a classic all-rounder, should have a constant presence in your lineup throughout the game. |
Serena – Delphox | Tech | The immense damage potential of this combo, as well as the best means to spread status effects to the opponent, is their calling card. Go Viral is a fantastic utility that may be used against any party composition. |
Player – Torchic | Support | We’ll start with the standard pairing of you and Torchic. By raising their attack, special attack, and Critical Rate stats, this is a potent combination that can support a number of team compositions. |
Hilbert – Samurott | Support | Excellent for teams who rely on physical damage. They can improve stats and are incredibly adaptable because they can use the grid to adapt to any environment. |
Sabrina – Mega Alakazam | Support | A pair with excellent utility who excels in offensive team compositions due to their ability to deliver numerous buffs and heals. |
Professor Sycamore – Xerneas | Support | Because of their ability to tank a lot of damage while being incredibly versatile with their sync grid, this combination is perfect for both new and expert players. A fantastic combination that is quite viable if you need tanky support. |
Sygna Suit Blue – Mega Blastoise | Support | This is the game’s bulkiest and most tanky duo. While Blastoise’s offence will not blow you away, its almost impenetrable defence shines in practically any situation in-game. This pair isn’t as adaptable as others on the list, but it’s adequate for its intended purpose. |
Skyla – Swanna | Support | Another strong support, although this time the emphasis is on defensive and tanking benefits. If you wish to survive longer in tougher encounters, Master Healer is a must-have on your team. |
